The Bethel Robinson Youth Ministry exists for students that are wanting to learn more about God, their own relationship with Christ and how their lives should reflect Christ. Come and experience the fun of studying God’s Word as well as Youth Camps, Mission Trips, Retreats, and many other ways to be involved!

Our students plugging into the local community, our state and eventually the nations, brings joy to not only our local church but to the community as a whole. Below are just a few examples of our past activities.

Mission Trip

Despite the heat of the summer, this last July our youth partnered with another local church and traveled to Port Arthur, Tx for five very busy days. Port Arthur is still recovering after Hurricane Harvey hit in August of 2017. Much of the city was under water and several homes are still abandoned. While serving in Port Arthur we were tasked with the simple job of yard work. Our teams cut down many limbs and entire trees, cleaned up shrubs, as well as partnered with the city Parks and Rec department to help them catch up on their own mowing duties. During our spare time, we managed to travel down to the beach, cool off and grow in fellowship while we worshiped the Lord next to the waters. Upon leaving we served a combined total of over 420 hours of community service.

Fifth Quarter

On September 14th after the Troy Trojans visited the Robinson Rockets for the Rockets homecoming, Our church hosted a community 5th quarter where unlimited amounts of pancakes were served and… devoured. Afterwards we played many exciting games, hung out, and had a short encouragement by Ryan with worship led by guest worship leader Daniel Baros.

Youth Retreat

Every year we attend two retreats. The fall retreat is held annually on Labor Day weekend from Saturday through Monday. This retreat is for youth in 7th grade through high school students who graduated the previous spring.

The winter retreat is held in late January or early February. This retreat is open to youth in grades 6 through 12.
