Rev. Nathan Aviles

Pastor of the North Texas Church

I came to know the Lord personally in the summer of 2003.  I was lying on my father's couch, staring at the ceiling for quite some time, wrestling with God before finally closing my eyes and surrendering my life to Him.  It is a vivid and precious memory to this very day!  Looking back, I can certainly say that God has been faithful.  But it wasn't until a couple of years later that I would surrender to the call of ministry.

After serving as a local youth leader for a few years after my call to preach, filling pulpits for our local and sister churches and working towards ordination in our denomination, I finally felt led by the Lord to leave our home church to pastor our first flock, located in the Hill Country of Texas.

In the Fall of 2009, I moved to Fredericksburg to pastor my first church.  For the first time in my life, I left the Dallas/Fort Worth area to pursue the life of full-time ministry.  As a first time pastor, living in a new town, with a new secular employer and a new baby girl, life was quite an adventure...scary and exciting all at the same time!  But every step of the way, we trusted God to meet each and every need and that He did.

My family and I are so grateful to be serving our new church (as of 2019) in North Texas located in Colleyville.  I have been married to my beautiful wife, Jennifer, for over fifteen years.  We have also been blessed with three children; Erik, Kendall and Alli.  When we have free time, we love to spend it together, usually playing sports, making each other laugh or playing a good board game.

A common theme that anyone will find in our local church is that we love God, His truth and have a sincere desire to know Him better.  Our love for Jesus Christ and our faithfulness to Him is what sustains us each and every day, and also teaches us how to love one another.  If you too have a desire to know more about God or are seeking to know what is real and true, please come by for a visit and get to know us!
